  1. The first day came on strong with likewise works of the Modern Art section.  A "Bouquet" by Rudolf Wacker was sold above the estimate at € 128,000.

  2. Once again, the Auction House in Kinsky recorded many top bids - in this respect, a new world record for a work by Xenia Hausner should be mentioned. In addition to the usually strong departments of Modern Art and Contemporary Art, the Antiques scored particularly well this time: with a marble statue of Empress Elisabeth, the Auction House achieved a particularly high selling price. Please find enclosed a quick overview of some highlights.

  3. In the Contemporary Art section, a collage by Franz West achieved  a world record: "Manhattan" from 1988 was sold for € 145,000 (with premium € 191,000), making it the most expensive collage by  this artist ever auctioned.
