Watch Collection of Ing. Karl Sochor
Cat. no. 1141-1204

Over decades, the Viennese engineer Karl Sochor amassed a impressive collection of watches and antiques, which he documented in great detail. Almost all of the watches are accompanied by the collection number document. What makes the collection so special is its extraordinary variety and quality. Almost all of the watches are in undamaged and excellent condition.

In our auction house, the first part of his collection was successfully auctioned in 2019. We are now in the fortunate position of being able to offer the second part from his collection for sale. The range this time includes pocket watches of all kinds. So you will find timepieces by distinguished watchmakers, including Edward Prior, Edward John Dent, Francois Mercier, Abraham-Louis Breguet, Lange & Söhne, Patek Philippe.

Please note:
The objects of art are auctioned in the condition they are in at the time of the exhibition. The description is made to the best of our knowledge and belief, in an undismantled state, without guarantee for condition and walkability. Any damage, restoration or defects are not specifically mentioned in the catalogue.
