Depicted in this painting is a coastal scenery. The painting got executed in the 1950s. At that time Rudolf Hausner was imprisoned. According to the present owner, the police man Dr. Karl Reidinger (posterior president of the Viennese police) helped him to fullfill his passion for the art of painting. To show his gratitude, Hausner painted this picture.
