We are grateful to Prof. Riccardo Lattuada for his help in cataloguing the painting.
We are also grateful to Prof. Nicola Spinosa, who confirmed the painting as a work of Francesco Solimena on the basis of a professional photo (verbal communication). In his opinion, the work is a collaboration between Francesco Solimena and the Neapolitan flower painter Gasparo Lopez, called Gaspare dei Fiori (1650-1732).
