The executed composition of a male nude from the back is to be found in the Church of San Sebastiano in Venice. The entire fresco cycle was executed by Paolo Veronese, partly in collaboration with his brother Benedetto. The present figure is part of the scene „Jesus heals a paralysed man“ on the inner side of the left organ door. (cf. Terisio Pignatti, Veronese. Vol. 2, Venice 1976, fig. 182)
