Hof- und Gerichtsadvokat" (courtly lawyer), married to Luise Piffl, born von Reininghaus (1853-1924). She was the daughter of Johann Peter Edler von Reininghaus (1818-1901) and of Therese, born Mautner von Markhof (1832–1926);
from the great great grandfather, Dr. Moriz Piffl, by descent to the present owner
