Jan Wijnants

Sohn des gleichnamigen Kunsthändlers, 1653 erstmals in Rotterdam erwähnt; ließ sich 1659 in Amsterdam nieder, wo er eine Schankwirtschaft eröffnete und sich nur nebenbei mit der Malerei beschäftigte.
Mit wenigen Ausnahmen haben seine Landschaften einen gelblich braunen Gesamtton.Haarlem um 1630/35 - 1684 Amsterdam
