Price on application

Quite late in his life Kokoschka began to practice with watercolours. Without opaque white, it is a way of painting that does not allow any mistakes. Reworks arehardly possible, every brushstroke has to be executed perfectly. „Kniendes Mädchen“ (Kneeling Girl) is a prime example of Kokoschka's virtuosity in this field. With just a few strokes he succeeds in capturing the body, its movement, but also the expression. The phase between 1920 and 1924 originated outstanding pieces of art.
